The Salisbury's modern stitching and soft lines harmoniously combine to give a gorgeous centre piece at the heart of your bedroom. Shown here with the half ottoman under bed storage option, this bespoke bed is masterfully hand crafted in our UK workshop in any standard or odd sizes from a large range of fabrics or one supplied by you or your interior designer. With so many possibilities we have only priced a small selection of 40 or so fabrics here.

Design Your Own Bespoke Bed 

Our bespoke “design your own” collection allows almost limitless options.  We’ll even help with suggestions if you like. Our designers and craftsmen are on hand to help with your plans. Please note alterations to the standard sizes may incur a surcharge.

Step 1:  Choose your size. This bespoke bed can be made to measure in standard or custom sizes.  The headboard can even be made taller or shorter.

Step 2:  Choose the fabrics from our comprehensive range of -

  • velvet
  • linen
  • wool
  • tweed 
  • textured fabric  
  • genuine and faux leather 
  • c.o.m. *subject to suitability and must be fire retardant

from quality fabric houses such as: Kirkby Design, Bute wool, Johnstons of Elgin, Moon wool, Abbotsford, Romo, Designer Guild, Linwood, Warwick, Ross, Crest Leather, Skopos, Streets and others in a myriad of textures and colours. Given the number of available fabrics we have only been able to price a small selection online. If there is a particular fabric or colour you wish, please contact us. We are happy to discuss colours and fabrics and send out free swatches on request.

As we offer a bespoke service, you can also supply a suitable fabric of your own provided it is fire retardant.

Step 3:  The base is upholstered in the same fabric as the headboard.  As this is a bespoke bed you can specify the specific height of the base whether you prefer it low, medium or very high and also choose from different styles of legs to finish the look. We have displayed a small selection here however if there is something specific you are looking for let us know as we have many more options available.

There are also storage base options available: 

  • ½ ottoman storage base 
  • 2 drawers; 1 each side at bottom
  • 4 drawers 
  • ½ ottoman storage base  + 2 drawers
    Note - drawers are not possible in leather or faux leather

You can even order a matching ottoman box, stool , bedroom chair or chaise longue in the same material.

The headboard can be supplied with wall mounting fixings.

The Salisbury comes in the standard Double, King Size, Euroking, Super King and Emperor bed sizes although it is possible to have custom sizes made. If you require modifications to the standard sizes please contact us by phone or email. Custom sizes and alterations may incur a surcharge. N.B. The lower headboard is a cheaper option. This is a superb British made hand crafted piece of furniture produced to the highest standard. Why not consider having a Panache Ottoman Box or bedroom chair upholstered in the same or a matching fabric?

Please check the access for delivering the Salisbury bed and headboard into your bedroom is big enough.

The mattress is not included in the price however we handmake a range of luxury mattresses suitable for this bed.
