Step 1:  Our bespoke “design your own” collection allows almost limitless options. We make the design of your dreams to your specification and colour scheme. We’ll even help with suggestions if you like. Our designers and craftsmen are on hand to help with your plans. sales@robinsonsbeds.co.uk 

This bespoke bed can be made to measure in standard or custom sizes.  The headboard can be taller or shorter; the base higher or lower.

Step 2:  Choose your fabric. Our comprehensive range of fabrics include -

  • c.o.m. *subject to suitability and must be fire retardant

from quality fabric houses such as: Bute wool, Johnstons of Elgin, Moon wool, Abbotsford, Romo, Designer Guild, Linwood, Warwick, Ross, Kirkby Design, Crest Leather, Skopos, Streets and others in a myriad of textures and colours.

We are happy to discuss colours and fabrics and send out free swatches on request. sales@robinsonsbeds.co.uk or ‘phone 0141 632 1384. As we offer a bespoke service, you can also supply a suitable fabric of your own provided it is fire retardant.

Step 3:  The base is upholstered in the same fabric as the headboard eliminating the need for a valance.  You can specify the height of the base: low, medium or very high. Choose your favourite bed base feet to finish the look. We have displayed a small selection here however if there is something specific you are looking for let us know as we have many more options available.

Storage options available are: 

  • ½ ottoman storage base 
  • 2 drawers; 1 each side at bottom
  • 4 drawers
  • ½ ottoman storage base + 2 drawers

Note - drawers are not possible in leather or faux leather

The Bespoke Berlin bed has a svelte elegance with a calming quality which can be particularly welcome in a bedroom setting. Part of our Bespoke Collection, the Berlin bed is shown here in a taupe fine corduroy fabric which adds interesting texture to this simple style. We offer two standard versions of the Berlin; one with a tall headboard in the contemporary style, while the other has a lower headboard for a more conventionally proportioned bed. By choosing your ideal colour and texture for the fabric and selecting the optimum height for your room you could have the perfect bespoke bed for yourself.

This is a superb hand crafted piece of furniture produced here to the highest standard. You can order extra material if you wish to add a matching throw, cushions etc. If you are looking for matching bedroom furniture, we also make chairs, stools, benches, chaise longue and ottoman storage boxes in the same fabric or co-ordinating materials to the Berlin bespoke bed.

The headboard can be supplied with wooden straps which attach it to the base or wall mounting fixings.
