How a treasured photograph can become a stunning and unique piece of furniture
We often produce bespoke furniture for imaginative interior designers recently creating a headboard for Glasgow Interior Designer Flounce, from a family photograph, digitally printed onto velvet.
“I love creating distinct interiors that are unique to my customers and reflect their individual personality. I was inspired by a treasured photograph and it was lovely to see this transformed into a beautiful piece of furniture that delighted the client.”
Clare Turley of Flounce
It was such a unique and personal product that we took inspiration from the beautiful photography of a friend of the business, to create examples to display in our showroom.
Photographs reproduce beautifully onto fabric using digital print and the fabric can be transformed into a unique piece of furniture. It’s a lovely way to preserve and showcase a favourite place - where you accepted a marriage proposal or spent your honeymoon - or a treasured family photograph. It would be a very original and thoughtful wedding or anniversary present.
The quality of print achieved from digitally reproducing images onto fabric is quite incredible. The image is razor sharp, yet the fabric maintains its handle. We’ve found that velvet works really well and is of course beautifully tactile.
Once the printing stage is completed our skilled craftsmen create a headboard from the finished print to our customer’s exact specifications. It all starts with the photograph, so if you feel inspired click here or contact us for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org
