Deck the Halls, Lounge and Bedroom !

Hopefully Black Friday and other flash sales don’t exhaust you before Christmas as it’s not just Advent Calendars, Christmas trees and outside lights that bring a festive sparkle to the home! Dressing the house to give it that festive feel is all part of the fun in the build up to the big day and there are the clever touches that deliver warmth and cheer to rooms and get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Soft touches such as using deep red and gold cushions and large white glittering candles, dressing the mantel piece with mistletoe, pine cones and tiny fairy lights, seasonal pine and spice scented pot pourri and of course those Santa sacks hanging from the fireplace all help to set the scene. If it’s the bedroom you wish to bring some touches to why not take Christmas colours and have an upholstered headboard made in a rich cranberry shade of checked fabric or string some gentle fairy lights across the top of your headboard and some white and rose gold throw cushions below? Christmas is a fabulous time for snuggling up in bed feeling cosy and warm through the longer winter nights so bringing a little joy and ambience to the bedroom is time well spent.
