Our Bespoke Beds Collection

Based on a simple French classic the elegant Crown bed sits proudly on small wooden legs and can easily be customised and upholstered in the colour and texture of fabric that fits beautifully within your bedroom. We have a huge range of fabrics to choose from or the customer can supply their own to ensure you have the perfect colour.

Alterations to the standard beds incur a surcharge.

Step 1:  Use the standard Crown design as shown or specify alterations in design or size. Our bespoke “design your own” collection allows almost limitless options and our design team and craftsmen are on hand to help with your plans. sales@robinsonsbeds.co.uk This bespoke bed can be made to measure in standard sizes kingsize or superking as priced here or in custom sizes.  The headboard can be taller or shorter. 

Step 2:  Our comprehensive range of fabrics include -

  • velvet
  • genuine or faux leather

  • wool 
  • satin 
  • tweed 
  • textured fabric  
  • faux suede  
  • c.o.m. *subject to suitability and must be fire retardant

from quality fabric houses such as  Warwick, Bute wool, Johnstons of Elgin, Moon wool, Abbotsford, Romo, Designer Guild, Linwood, Ross, Kirkby Design, Crest Leather, Skopos, Streets and others in a myriad of textures and colours. Given the number of available fabrics we have only been able to price a small selection online. If there is a particular fabric or colour you wish, please contact us.

As we offer a bespoke service, you can also supply a suitable fabric of your own provided it is fire retardant.

Step 3:  Custom changes include  higher or lower base height. Choose your favourite bed legs to finish the look. We have displayed a small selection here however if there is something specific you are looking for let us know as we have many more options available and Storage base options are also possible:  

  • ½ ottoman storage base 
  • 2 drawers; 1 each side at bottom
  • 4 drawers
  • 1/2 ottoman storage base + 2 drawers 

Note - drawers are not possible in leather or faux leather

The Crown bed is a well priced boutique bed superbly put together by our expert craftsmen for you in our British workshop.

The headboard is supplied with wooden straps which attach it to the base or wall mounting fixings.

The dimensions below are standard sizes for guidance; however this bed can be made to your specific sizes/specification. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
