Our showroom is based in Glasgow, Scotland and it is from here that we design and build our designer beds and mattresses using both our highly experienced team of bed designers and skilled bed making workforce!

 

We are proud to bring you British made beds and pleased to sport the Made in Britain logo.

 

We are a family run business and we have been designing, building and selling beds from our Glasgow factory for in excess of 35 years and as the second generation of Robinsons are now running the business that figure is set to just grow and grow – we've already started to prime the third generation for take over with a strong grounding in the art of bed making...

Custom handmade beds and headboards

We pride ourselves on our handmade beds and headboards that we can custom make to any shape or size that you may require.

 

As you would expect with a company based in Scotland, all our handmade beds are made in Great Britain and we are proud to use high quality British materials to being you a unique bed built to your exact requirements.Designing your own bed is a simple 4 step process.

 

Step One: Choice number one is which headboard style to choose from. You can choose from one of our existing designs or even design it yourself.

Step Two: Next you need to choose your fabric. We have a fantastic range of fabrics to choose from in a variety of colours so you are sure to find one that suits your colour scheme. Or how about using a fabric that you are using elsewhere in your bedroom for the ultimate in coordinated furniture?

Step Three: Bed size is an important consideration do you need a standard bed or are you looking to have a bed made to fit an odd sized area? We can build to any shape or size so whatever your design challenge we can build a bed that fits seamlessly into your bedroom.

Step Four: Your final choice is all about your bed base. You have several options to choose from so you need to decide if you'd like a bed with under bed storage or not, do you want storage drawers or a bed that lift up to reveal the storage area below?

 

As with all the decisions above a member of the Robinsons team will be in touch with you throughout the design and build for advice on your design decisions and to keep you informed of progress and delivery estimates.

We chose Italian designers for both the amazing, modern designs and the high quality of materials and manufacturing. We'd only stock beds that we feel could match the design and quality of our own and Italian beds fit the bill perfectly.

 

Beautiful, contemporary designs such as the Roma, Lumiere and the Anya beds are ideal examples of Italian style with their simple lines, innovate designs and classic style. These are beds that suit any room and will add a real touch of luxury to your bedroom.

Wooden Bedroom Furniture

We think wooden furniture is beautiful. It is versatile and can fit with any shape, design or colour you need. It's probably the most common material for bedroom furniture which should come as no surprise given it's durability and ease of cleaning.

 

It's also a classic material which, when combined with a designer flair means it is hard to age and a good solid piece of wooden furniture will last you a lifetime.
